Python Developer (Insurance / P&C Insurance / Rating Engine-Oracle / Guidewire)

Key Responsibilities: Utilize Python to develop and maintain data processing pipelines, leveraging libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Flask.

Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and identify areas for improvement, implementing practical solutions. Debug code as needed and troubleshoot Python-related queries, ensuring smooth operation of applications. Contribute to projects related to P&C Insurance Rate management, Pricing, and/or Underwriting Functions.

Develop and maintain documentation related to workflow, business requirements, and technical functionality of applications/platforms. Familiarity with Earnix is advantageous. Manage work using project management tools like Jira and actively participate in Agile ceremonies/routines.

Qualifications: 7 years of experience as a Python Developer, with a strong portfolio of projects. Understanding of Python Software Development ecosystems, including NumPy, Pandas, and Flask. Experience with P&C insurance, including Rating Engineer experience with Oracle/Guidewire.

Proficiency in data extraction and analytics using Python and/or R. Knowledge of pricing in the insurance domain is highly desirable.
