Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above

  • Train and lead staff

  • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients

  • Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen

  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues

  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients

  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

The Data Analyst will work with a centralized data team helping PwC's business units to manage data on PwC's platform. This role will define data sets that require to be anonymized by working directly with PwC's lines of service through defining their data objectives, understanding data de-identification requirements, developing de-identification rules, and supporting the client secondary data usage policy.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • SQL for data analysis;

  • Linux/Unix operating system and shell scripting;

  • Automation-focused programming languages (i.e. Excel macros, etc);

  • Database reporting;

  • Web services for creating items; and,

  • Technical aptitude for data analysis. Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • SQL for data analysis;

  • Linux/Unix operating system and shell scripting;

  • Automatio[n-related programming languages (i.e. Excel macros, etc);

  • Database reporting;

  • Web services for creating items; and,

  • Technical aptitude for data analysis.

  • Collaboration with business leaders and partners to identify information needs, and define reporting requirements, including demonstrating thorough problem solving skills;

  • Understanding and prior use of de-identification software; and,

  • Willingness to travel 40 percent of the time.
