As an Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist the team in various aspects of the project

  • Prepare deliverables

  • Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen

  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues

  • Ensure you are adhering to compliance matters

  • Work on developing internal relationships and your PwC brand

Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success providing administrative support, including leveraging MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) in accomplishing any of the following areas:

  • Projects administration, logistics, scheduling, and function coordination;

  • Financial reporting, including billing and collection management and/or project economics analysis and managing accounts payable for vendors and external contractors;

  • Obtainment and organization of project documentation, including contracts, master services agreements and statements of work;

  • File organization, research, computational work and create spreadsheets;

  • Workshop and meeting logistics including coordination with multiple parties, calendaring, scheduling, room reservations, capturing minutes/action items, and workshop delivery;

  • CPE Credit acquirement for workshops and training sessions; and,

  • Performing ad-hoc projects as needed.

Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Responding to project and/or team requests promptly and professionally;

  • Offering assistance readily and contributing to a positive, collaborative working environment;

  • Seeking instruction, feedback and coaching to improve performance proactively;

  • Providing support for any of the following responsibilities including projects administration, financial reporting including billing and collection management, project economics analysis, obtain and organize project documentation, workshop and meeting coordination, setup and support, and performing ad-hoc projects as needed.

The nurse manager 24/7 practice plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the operational, fiscal, and personnel activities within defined areas of practice to ensure the provision of quality patient care 24 hours a day. The individual contributes to the strategic planning process, and attainment of goals of the organization. The individual is responsible for one or more inpatient units based upon unit/area complexity and size of practice. The nurse manager 24/7 practice advocates for and allocates available resources to promote efficient, effective, safe, and compassionate nursing care based on current standards of practice. The nurse manager 24/7 practice is responsible for total work unit budget. The individual promotes shared decision making on the unit level. The nurse manager 24/7 practice acts as a resource and facilitates collaboration between nursing personnel and other health care disciplines throughout the organization and within the healthcare community. The nurse manager 24/7 is accountable for promoting ongoing development of all staff and for maintaining a professional environment in which all staff can grow and develop. Direct reports may include nurse supervisors of assigned inpatient units. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate nursing program. Candidates will have progressive leadership experience in Cardiac Catheterization Labs and/or Electrophysiology Labs. Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in CCL/EP and 3 years of progressive leadership in CCL/EP Labs. Candidates must possess both clinical expertise and business acumen in leading both the operations and clinical responsibilities. The Manager will report directly to the Nurse Administrator and will have a matrix reporting structure to the Operations Administrator. The Manager will have the proven track record and ability to work with the physician division chairs to advance the cardiovascular procedural practices. Additional qualifications Demonstrated leadership ability. Experience in the department's specialty preferred. Management experience preferred. Preferred Education: Graduate of an Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited Master's in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program, business, or health related field as approved by Mayo Clinic Nurse Executive Committee. Internal applicants are required to attach their three most recent performance appraisals. License or certification Current state RN license or current license deemed acceptable by the State Board of Nursing in which the RN practices. Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency. Maintains ACLS and PALS per specific unit guidelines. Any additional specialty certification/training as required by the work area.
