  • Working previously as a Product Operations Manager as part of a large transformation project and/or leading a product operations / support team or organization;

  • Overseeing and being responsible for the the stability, scalability, and overall health of an application platform;

  • Understanding of how cloud based services can enhance efficiency, scalability, and cost efficiency;

  • Understanding of agile and devops philosophies as they pertain to operational support and ongoing service improvement;

  • Demonstrating experience in process and metrics definition / ITIL;

  • Defining roles and responsibilities of an Operations team by creating staffing and operating model for the Operations team, including number of staff and levels, required skill sets, transactions supported, method(s) of support, feedback mechanisms, performance metrics, training required, and a method of keeping the team up-to-date on the features and functionality in upcoming release(s);

  • Creating roadmaps for Operations team;

  • Leading team in execution of defined build out plan;

  • Proactively addressing application health and scalability, identifying potential issues, and addressing them before they arise;

  • Quickly and efficiently managing incidents, driving service restoral, identifying root cause, and implementing preventative measures;

  • Leading the team in carrying out the ongoing support;

  • Defining and managing to the budget required to carry out the defined operations (within the specified parameters);

  • Monitoring the success of team - driving enhancements based upon user feedback and performance measures;

  • Coordinating with functional team to establish all are in sync;

  • Balancing multiple and competing priorities;

  • Coordinating with the Functional team to establish that the Operations team is in sync; and,

  • Performing as a team leader to include leading teams to generate a vision, establishing direction, motivating members, creating an atmosphere of trust, leveraging diverse views, coaching staff, and encouraging improvement and innovation.

This exciting role provides the opportunity to be a hands-on leader of a team of Digital Product Managers and Digital Analysts and to partner across the organization to deliver features and functionalities that enhance the member experience. In addition to managing the current online and mobile banking needs of our members, the Director is responsible for evaluating and incorporating applicable digital banking, payment and Fintech trends into the evolving Digital banking roadmap. Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful: Job Duties * Drive the strategic roadmap for assigned products; create and implement product vision, direction, and business plans * Lead and develop a team of employees by communicating performance expectations; planning, monitoring and appraising job results; coaching and developing employees * Review and manage the product set (feature/functionality) for market competitiveness, customer experience, regulatory compliance, risk management, as well as efficiency of operation and technology delivery; identify opportunities to close digital feature gaps and create new digital experiences - ultimately improving the member experience * Partner with key stakeholders including retail, marketing, operations, and other internal partners as well as external stakeholders to deliver industry leading digital banking products and experiences that align with strategic goals; Lead users and stakeholders to implement and support agreed upon solutions through consensus building * Direct multiple large, complex and/or highly visible programs that have significant financial, reputational, or regulatory risk, and requires deep and broad subject matter expertise * Design and deliver product performance and client experience analytics and reporting (KPI's) to business leaders that is inclusive of First Tech's performance as well as industry benchmark data; Measure and track progress towards qualitative objectives and quantitative goals. * Identify and manage potential areas of risk associated with existing and new digital banking products and policies * Ensure delivery of sales support to all distribution channels (.com, mobile, experience centers, contact center) so that features/functionality are properly positioned to customers (sales tools, training, messaging, etc.) * Establish and manage relationships with 3rd party strategic partners Essential Skills * 7+ years relevant experience managing digital products with a financial institution (bank or credit union), Financial Services Provider or Fintech focused organization. * 7+ years' experience in Product Management, in a leadership capacity in payments and money movement. * Strong understanding of Digital Banking and specifically the digital payments landscape, including both current and emerging technologies (ACH, Wires, P2P Payments, Funds Transfer, Real Time Payments, etc.) including users, technology, operations, and risk considerations. * Understanding and demonstrated application of Agile product management, specifically Scrum * Strategic thinker with a proven track record of effectively translating customer needs into digital product features and functionality via online and mobile platforms that drive higher member adoption and engagement. * Ability to work across multiple internal stakeholders, business areas and external providers to deliver high-quality solutions * Be a hands-on leader with strong analytical skills, with the proven ability to leverage data analysis and customer research to drive discovery and ensure the right problems are identified along with the most fitting solution. Must be comfortable drawing insights from large data sets to iterate product enhancements quickly * Strategic and operational business acumen with demonstrated interpersonal and relationship management skills; ability to work well as part of a cross-functional team and lead across the organization at multiple levels. * Knowledge of user experience and strong customer focused design and UX principles * Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal development and engineering teams to deliver member-centric solutions.
