Global Trade Site Manager - This position will be a remote/hybrid position supporting the Southern Logistic Center in Atlanta Georgia. (Global Trades is PW term for International Trade Compliance.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day to day export guidance to a diverse Global Distribution and Logistics Organization.

  • Work closely with Operations, Quality, and Core Legal Global Trades teams to provide guidance and resolve Global Trades issues.

  • Identify compliance risks, conduct/assist audits and development of plans to eliminate/mitigate export risks.

  • Report all potential Global Trades concerns consistent with PW & RTX Global Trades requirements.

  • Lead/facilitate export investigations and DIVEs to ensure root cause is identified and sustained corrective action is put into place to drive down escapes.

  • Ensure the export jurisdiction & classification determinations are recorded for all items, technology, & software, and export markings are fully applied.

  • Support on-site Global Trades infrastructure including part-time PW Global Trades Associates and authorized users of export licenses and/or owners of such authorizations.

  • Produce and present Senior Management reports.

  • Ensure the screening of suppliers, vendors, customers, & visitors is conducted per RTX and P&W policy.

  • Assist sites in deploying standard work/written procedures for implementation of Global Trades control processes.

  • Own the Global Trade self-assessment process for the site, including continuous improvement, validation and audit.

  • Ensure facility controls are consistent with RTX Global Trades Facility Management Policy.

  • Deploy & maintain Global Trades Site Control Plan, act as custodian for other Technology Control Plans etc. Screen Suppliers, vendors, customers & visitors.

  • Support deployment of Global Trades training curriculum, as applicable to site employees.

  • Responsible to implement Import/Customs compliance programs and support clearance related issues. Work with PW Global Trades Import teams to ensure Global Trades issues are reported and RCCA are implemented.

  • Actively support implementation and sustainment of a compliance program consistent with local (non-U.S.) trade compliance laws and regulations, as applicable, in addition to RTX and P&W policy.

  • Represent Operations and Quality Global Trades as required, in Global Trades initiatives led by the Global Trades Legal organization and ensure that business unit needs, and requirements are sufficiently addressed in these initiatives and process improvement projects.

  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of related experience OR Master's Degree with 3+ years

of related experience.

  • US Citizenship required due to government contract.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in international trade compliance experience or master's degree with 3+ years leadership experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years in International Trade Compliance experience.

  • Must be a collaborative team player, possess multi-tasking abilities, have a client focus, be adaptive and work effectively in a time sensitive and dynamic environment.

  • Strong analytical, project management, problem-solving, interpersonal, leadership and verbal and written communication skills.

  • Professional maturity to work with minimal daily supervision while balancing numerous tasks and questions on ITC matters.

  • Demonstrated leadership competencies and ability to work proactively across groups and functions.

  • Advanced degree and/or JD.

  • Strong understanding of Import and Export Regulations in the US.

  • Experience with SAP/GTS.

  • Classification and jurisdiction knowledge.

  • ACE Associate Certification is strongly preferred.

  • Proven effective utilization of ACE/continuous improvement tools to drive process improvements.
