The Role
Cypress Creek Renewables seeks a PV Solar Maintenance Planner/Scheduler with a minimum of 3 years experience in the Renewable Energy industry, focusing on Solar Photovoltaic systems. Duties will include supporting all operational plants within the work order and inventory management systems, scheduling preventative maintenance, and managing the work process.
Core Competencies
Scheduling preventative maintenance for utility and distributed PV Solar plants
Coordinating cross-functional corrective maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
Managing spare parts utilizing inventory management systems
Tracking 3rd party deliverables for warranty claims tied to field activities
Contributing to the design and implementation of Optimized Dispatch strategies
Experience with utility-scale solar photovoltaic or similar renewables systems
Exceptional organizational, communication, decision making/problem solving, analytical and time management skills
Experience working with and managing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Hands on knowledge of various SCADA and DAS systems
Team player with strong initiative, able to work autonomously to complete tasks
Knowledge and experience with medium and high-voltage electrical transmission systems and substations
Working knowledge of servicing inverters and PV systems
Teamwork - ability to work with a team of O&M professionals to solve problems quickly and efficiently
Ability to read, understand electrical, civil, and structural plans
Ability to read, understand maintenance contracts and scopes of work
Understanding of logistics and operations in a service environment
Proficiency on a PC computer with basic hardware, software, and networking abilities
Understanding of OSHA and other workplace safety requirements
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Specific duties will include:
Utilizing the Salesforce FSM and/or SiteTracker work order management system to schedule and track work
Create and maintain data products within Salesforce to hold all teams accountable for their KPIs
Interpreting maintenance scopes of work
Utilizing the inventory management system
Utilizing Netsuite system for purchase orders, invoicing, and procurement
Dispatch and schedule contractors and service providers and approve invoices
Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure adequate procurement of spare parts through distributors or directly with manufacturers
Work with vendors for product technical support, warranties and logistics
Usage of Microsoft Office suite of support programs
Travel to sites as required to support O&M Team
Review technical documents and studies
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree in Management AND
3-5 years of experience with exposure to the following areas:
PV solar construction or equivalent
PV solar Operations and Maintenance or equivalent
Scheduling/planning
Project management
Control room monitoring
Previous experience with the Salesforce platform and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
Requirements/Work Environment
Work is to be performed primarily in an office environment with occasional field visits
Ability to obtain unescorted access for NERC/CIP facilities
Valid Driver's License
Must have the ability to travel, work on-call during off-shift hours and weekends.
Location: The Planner/Scheduler works primarily from our Durham office and has the opportunity to visit sites to fulfill their day-to-day duties. Remote applicants may also be considered. They must have the ability to obtain unescorted access to NERC/CIP facilities, must have a valid driver's license, ability and willingness to travel and work on-call during off-shift hours and weekends.
