Full-Time Purchasing/Buyer

Zynex is seeking the best Purchasing/Buyer in the state to join our team. Since 1996, Zynex Medical has been a leading provider of relief for patients with functional disability through the creation, distribution and marketing of the highest quality electrotherapy products available today. Our product line is fully developed, FDA-cleared, commercially sold. Zynex continually strives to uphold its mission to improve the quality of life of patients suffering from debilitating pain or illness by providing the highest technology and service standards in the electrotherapy industry.


Essential Job Duties and

Responsibilities:
  • Develop a professional and lasting relationship with our vendors.

  • Negotiate by phone, email, letter and in person to obtain a stable supply chain of high quality components at competitive prices.

  • Continuously follow up on existing purchase orders to ensure timely delivery times and respond to lead time changes accordingly.

  • Communicate with various internal departments regarding supply needs, as well as with Accounting to ensure purchase orders are clear, organized and complete.

  • Ability to keep organized and accurate records of all vendor information, discounts available, records of purchase orders, etc.

  • Ensure adequate inventory of office supplies.

  • Provide weekly and monthly inventory counts and estimate appropriate purchase planning.

  • Be present/visible in the home office 5 days/week (M-F), 8 hours/day.

  • Other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Job Qualifications (unless otherwise noted):

  • Ability to perform with high degree of independent judgment and make complex decisions within short amount of time. Decisive, yet conscientious, when listening to the advice of others in supervisory positions.

  • Ability to resolve concerns or issues that arise with vendors in a professional manner.

  • Superior phone communication and negotiation skills with vendors and suppliers.

  • Strong attention to detail and good typing skills.

  • Have an extreme sense of urgency, combined with getting work done to completion, accurately and in accordance with company standards and policies.

  • Consistently dress and interact professionally in a corporate office environment.

Education:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Requirements:
  • Fast-Paced, high-volume office environment with frequent interruptions

  • Proficient use of office equipment including computers, copiers, fax machines and telephones.

  • Proficiency with office computers and Microsoft Office software.

  • Ability to communicate effectively via spoken, written and electronic means.

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

DISH currently has an opportunity for such a person, as an entry-level Buyer in the DISH Technology - Supply Chain Management organization This Buyer position supports the Commodity Management team, collaborating with other departments, such as Planning and Forecasting, to provide Best-in-Class supply chain management for our fast-paced Manufacturing and Wireless operations. The supply chain includes both domestic and international suppliers and contract manufacturers.
