The Purchasing Coordinator performs a variety of duties associated with purchasing and supply management. This position is responsible for receiving and processing all hospital and/or departmental requisitions and purchase orders, maintaining appropriate inventory levels in accordance with hospital procedures, and maintains control of supplies and equipment for all hospital departments.   • High School diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 2-3 years of hospital supply and purchasing management preferred. Machines, Equipment Used: - General office equipment such as telephone, copy machine, fax machine, calculator, computer. Physical Requirements:- Good visual acuity and ability to communicate.
  • Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, and retrieve objects weighing a minimum of 30 pounds including medical supplies and equipment and the transferring and repositioning of patients. Reasonable assistance may be requested when lifting, pushing, and/or pulling are undertaken which exceeds these minimum requirements. Compliance:

  • Adheres to the company's Standards of Business Conduct.

  • Maintains current licensure and/or certifications, if applicable. Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to speak, read, write, and communicate effectively.

  • Ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner.

  • Ability to work independently without supervision. Environmental Conditions: - Indoor, temperature controlled, smoke-free environment. Occasional outdoor exposure.

  • Exposure or potential exposure to blood and body fluids may be required.

  • Handicapped accessible.

  • May work under stressful circumstances at times. Proficiency or Productivity Standards:

  • Meets established attendance standards.

  • Adheres to hospital/department dress code including wearing ID badge.

  • May be required to work weekdays and/or weekends, evenings and or night shifts if needed to meet deadlines.

  • May be required to work on religious and/or legal holidays on scheduled days/shifts.

  • Will be required to work as necessary during disaster situations, i.e., before, during or after a disaster.

  • May be required to stay after workday to assist after a disaster situation until relief arrives.

VIEW JOBS 9/28/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-12-27T00:00 POSITION SUMMARY The Supply Chain Inventory Analyst is responsible for the coordination of all assigned tasks relating to inventory management. This also includes monitoring the phasing in/out of products, usage of test and promotional items and solving inventory issues in a timely manner. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS May perform any or all of the following duties: * Maintains policies and procedures to ensure that all inventories are adequately controlled; compiles, maintains and analyzes inventory reports * Identifies and reports on recurring issues that drive inventory discrepancies; recommends and implements corrective actions to avoid recurrence * Identifies and reports obsolete, surplus, or excess inventory and assists with disposition options * Coordinates and communicates information to distributors from Marketing regarding promotions. * Forecasts usage for limited time offers and promotional events and communicates expectations to distributors * Manages phase out/phase in of new products, discontinued products and/or vendor transitions. * Works with purchasing and distribution to complete vendor and item set-ups in a timely manner. * Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned in response to changing business conditions and/or requirements * Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills; communicates effectively with various departments (internal and external). * Participates in company meetings, webinars and conference calls * Must possess approximately two (2) to three (3) years of any combination of experience and/or education that demonstrates a commanding knowledge of administrative, accounting or finance * AA/AS Degree preferred * Must have advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite with expertise in Excel * Must have strong math aptitude and reasoning skills * Must display strong analytical and organizational skills to identify and implement process improvement strategies with positive business results * Must possess a strong work ethic, with superior attention to detail. * High level of confidentiality is required to ensure proper handling of sensitive information THE COMPANY RETAINS THE RIGHT TO CHANGE OR ASSIGN OTHER DUTIES TO THIS POSITION AS DEEMED APPROPRIATE WITH OR WITHOUT NOTICE.
