Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Operations & Technology, the role of Manager Procurement Technology is required to have a deep understanding of procure to pay processes and proven experience with integrating business process and policies into procurement systems and ERP channels. This individual is responsible for the management of a team of system analysts/administrators who help support the implementation of system enhancements required for scalability and efficiency. The individual is expected to successfully partner with internal business stakeholders, IT resources, and the software providers to serve as the primary lead for the administration and enhancement of our purchasing systems (Coupa and Concur).
A successful candidate in this position would demonstrate their ability to think strategically and align processes and policies to overall enterprise objectives and vision while also being comfortable working in the details of deliverables. The individual would be self- motivated, someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and is able to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects occurring simultaneously. Previous experience managing teams is preferred.
Serve as the lead for the administration and oversight of the Vail Resorts purchasing systems (Coupa & Concur)
Ability to set task and project plans and expectations, manage to deadlines, and hold individuals and team accountable to critical milestones
Have a strong data-driven approach to problem solving with an ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to convert ideas into scalable strategies that can be actioned on with available resources
Develop understanding of technical requirements for purchasing systems and other integrated and free-standing systems utilized by the Company
Manage intake of system & process related requests from stakeholders and work with Senior Leadership to prioritize accordingly
Drive strategic discussions surrounding process improvement and align key stakeholders to identify root cause and implement process improvement activities
Drive a system roadmap, by planning and managing system upgrades and testing, and meeting minimum system upgrade requirements with the ability to clearly document testing and approvals for SOX compliance
Align business processes and policies with technical requirements and limitations for systems, projects and programs.
Oversee a team of program analysts to implement projects and initiatives
Evaluate and work with IT to monitor all integration points between the Coupa platform and other dependent data sources including our ERP, supplier fulfillment channels and other 3rd party databases
Development and execution of system training, support and communication for P2P function
