We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing and proficiency in AutoQuotes, with specific experience in the foodservice industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and fostering a relationship with our suppliers and vendors. You will also oversee the implementation of the supply and production strategies. You will purchase $10 million in spend on commercial foodservice equipment, supplies, and disposables. Key Responsibilities:
Manage the purchasing process for all foodservice-related products and services.
Utilize AutoQuotes software to source and negotiate with suppliers.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
Analyze market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
Collaborate with other departments to forecast needs and manage budgets.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role.
Proficiency in AutoQuotes software.
Strong knowledge of the foodservice industry.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
