Hitachi Astemo is looking for an individual to join our team as a Supply Chain Management Purchasing Intern at the Greenfield, IN location.

In this role, and under the direct supervision of the Purchasing Manger or their team, the Intern will support the Purchasing department functions. The purpose of this position is to assist with ensuring supplied parts ordering mees production requirements. This includes ordering and inventory confirmation to the production plan.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assigned project for completion during duration of Internship.

• Confirmed inventory levels and ensure production plan needs are maintained

• Oversee daily supplier related concern, work on Corrective action as needed

• Maintain tracking and reporting of supplier activity

• Issue Purchase Orders to suppliers per procedures. Follow up on delivery of purchased items

• Other duties as assigned
