As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will fill a team support role in the Purchasing Department by assisting in daily purchasing and receiving tasks, provide hotel support, and manage vendor relationships.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have one or more years of Purchasing and/or Food & Beverage experience, preferably hotel/hospitality field experience.

  • Be responsible for optimizing the effectiveness in providing the hotel with the best prices for the best products and contributing to the overall profitability of the hotel.

  • Place all orders through company approved eProcurement system while adhering to all system policies and procedures.

  • Ensures all orders coming in are confirmed for accuracy and product quality. Communicate all changes, outs, or substitutions with Executive Chef, Sous Chef or Supervisor as they occur.

  • Interact with suppliers in case of delay in delivery of supplies, receipt of damaged or incorrect quantity of goods.

  • Inspecting orders and storing product set forth by the State or Federal health codes.

  • Assists in the performance of monthly/quarterly/annual inventories.

  • Ensures proper dating, tagging of all food products, materials placed in storerooms.

  • Performs all operations necessary to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the receiving area.

  • Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.

VIEW JOBS 4/18/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-07-17T00:00 MARKETING & REPORTING COORDINATOR What we're looking for: Informa Exhibitions is seeking a full-time Marketing & Reporting Coordinator for its Digital Reach team. The candidate will fill a key strategic role, working on projects associated with promotional marketing and reporting. This role is focused on planning out promotional marketing to support program lead generation business for our external clients. Success in this roll with require the Marketing & Reporting Coordinator to collaborate with various internal support teams and to work directly in Eloqua and other related applications. Additionally, this role will provide reporting support for client-facing programs and business-level needs. You are accountable for: * Planning email, online and other promotions as needed. Including but not limited to: * Timing, writing and optimizing email promotional copy * Working directly with Program Managers to serve as the partner for developing successful marketing programs and adjust to meet goals * Working closely with the Marketing Automation and Segmentation teams who schedule emails and online promotions. * Gathering program activity data, including leads (possibly from multiple sources), downloads, video views, page views, visits/visitors, banner activity and promotional activity and compiles into client reports. * Evaluating sites prior to and upon launch, ensuring all data is being collected correctly for reporting purposes. * Identifying database errors and reporting issues and works with upper management/IT to solve * Organizing weekly data for inclusion in monthly department-wide program performance reports * Assisting with the set-up of feed files if necessary, Using Excel, Integrate, Convert and other necessary means to upload lead files to client feeds * Preparing end-of-program summaries that highlight the quantitative and qualitative elements of the program * Proactively working to control client and program management expectations; notifying team of poorly performing programs allowing team to be proactive in correcting the issues. * Cleansing leads based on program requirements * Additional duties on an as-needed basis – i.e. giveaway fulfillment, special reporting-related projects What you bring to the team: * An understanding of marketing for email and online promotions and products and organizational skills * An interest in marketing automation tools * Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects with ease and grace * Thrives in a fast-paced environment and able to adjust workflow and marketing plans to respond to changing audience response while still managing deadlines * Familiar with media and publishing as well as manufacturing, preferably * Online production skills, preferably * Excellent communication and grammar skills * Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint * Minimum BA/BS Traits we're looking for: Thrives on pressure and complexity, solutions-oriented, able to quickly synthesize and focus efforts to accomplish goals, and resilience. Intermediate MS Excel skills required, as well as a firm grasp on data and database concepts. Individual should be a team player, as the candidate will be a key partner to program managers within the Digital Reach Team and liaise with other teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, conscientious, possesses strong analytical skills and enjoys working independently and as a key contributing member of a team. They will need to work with remote teams and be a motivated self-starter who can read and learn from process documentation, shadowing colleagues, and learning while working in the day-to-day.
