Purchasing Analyst Intern

This individual will be responsible for assisting in the coordinating and acquisition of raw materials for manufacturing and project supplies for field construction projections. Job functions include purchasing, managing inventory levels (optimized across locations), and reporting on inventory levels. This individual would also have ad-roc reporting responsibility (in Excel) related to the activities in the purchasing and financing departments.

Internship will ideally start training the end of April and end August 2024.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Under limited supervision and much decision-making:

Assist in the Purchasing of raw materials and project supplies.

Assist with miscellaneous paper work such as invoicing.

Perform analysis for pricing on freight, sand and other products.

Updating documents as needed to ensure data accuracy.

Assist in other various tasks as needed.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prefer students pursuing degree in related field but not limited to.

• Supplier Setup Process

• Amazon Purchases

• Syspro PO revisions to align with TDDs.

• MRO Keepstock Orders

• Late PO follow ups

• Closing out old purchase orders

Hard skills required:

• Needs to be well versed in using Excel

Soft skills required:

• A good communicator both verbal & written

• Quick learner & nimble in a fast paced environment

• Organized w/ Strong time management skills

• Adaptable - can be flexible & move between tasks based on priority

• Detail oriented- takes good notes during training

• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.

• Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.

• Assist in the accomplishment of Company goals.

• Helps other employee to accomplish Company goals.

• Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Purchasing Manager.

• Participates in the Disaster Recovery plan as required.
