Purchasing Analyst - DC

The role of the Purchasing Analyst - DC is to oversee ship-to-home supplies, in-store services, and equipment. This role will touch multiple aspects of the organization and take actions that directly affect vendor relations, customer experience, operational planning, and bottom-line performance. Th role includes managing vendor performance and serving as a liaison between vendors and Belk. In addition, the role is expected to execute store ship-to-home procurement processes and provide reporting/ forecasts for supply procurement needs.

• Oversee supplies and in-store services and equipment for DC distributed supplies.

• Manage end-to-end procurement process for ship-to-home supplies.

• Manage new store opening ship-to-home equipment and periodically review current store equipment needs.

• Conduct vendor management reviews for DC distributed supplies.

• Maintain delivery schedules to control space requirements in DCs.

• Contribute to company and department wide initiatives/projects that are designed to improve processes and reduce operating costs.

• Providing vendors with monthly purchase orders delivery schedules.

• Assist with Supplies Inventory management.

• Maintain supply store delivery and order files.
