Purchasing Agent

TAG Consulting is currently in search of a Purchasing Agent to join one of the nation's foremost homebuilders Founded in 1978 and publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange, our client is seeking a Purchasing Agent to contribute to their dynamic Purchasing Department. The ideal candidate will provide invaluable support with a diverse range of clerical tasks, as outlined below.

Duties: Solicit bids Pre-qualify subcontractors Setup and monitor option costs and sales prices Maintain and update current budgets Spread revised bids and obtain approval for any price increases Prepare direct costs analysis and variances for review Input original Direct Costs budget Execute lot starts and final proof all unit costs Qualifications: Education and/or Experience; Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
