SUMMARY

The Purchasing Agent coordinates all in bound requests and maintains the accuracy of the purchasing system. This person works across functional and geographic boundaries to ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction relative to inventory levels, service, and management. The Purchasing Agent may perform other duties and special projects as needed or assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and track incoming purchasing requests.

• Maintain accurate item cost and purchase unit of measures in the inventory management system.

• Monitor and reconcile inventory counts enterprise wide.

• Assist in training offices on proper ordering techniques and procedures.

• Collaborate with accounts payable as needed.

• Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Complete other duties and special projects as assigned or as necessary.

EXPERIENCE

• Medical industry-related experience (preferred)

• Excellent MS Office capabilities

• Strong written communication and presentation skills
