Vision Statement: For all Floridians to live well and age well. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Acts as the customer service liaison to DOEA employees to effect "best buy" and statutorily compliant purchasing decisions for Florida. Review/perform P-card audits as directed. Serves as purchasing card administrator and intermediary between Bank of America (the card sponsor) and DOEA cardholders. Oversees daily monitoring of the department's P-Card transaction activity to ensure timely processing, reconciliation and clearing of vendor charges. Sends out electronic transaction delinquency notifications to Purchasing Card Reviewers and Bureau Chief, as needed. Functions as the department's liaison with the Department of Financial Services (DFS) in interpreting procurement statutes, rules and regulations. This includes attending statewide P-Card Administrator training and meetings. Assists Bureau Chief in the provision of training to DOEA staff for P-Card Works system. Add new vendors to FLAIR system as needed so that P-Card Approvers may approve Purchasing Card charges. Assists with policies and procedure annual updates. Performs other duties as required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED: Thorough knowledge of Chapter 287, Florida Statutes. SPECIAL NOTES: Preference will be given to the Department of Elder Affairs employees.
