White Plains Hospital Physician Associates (WPHPA), a division of White Plains Hospital with practices throughout Westchester County, is seeking Board-certified / Board-eligible Pulmonologist as it continues to grow the programs and services it offers to its community. Residency or postgraduate training candidates are encouraged to apply. White Plains Hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission, and the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions for quality and the patient experience. Our physicians practice in state-of-the-art facilities, including the new Center for Advanced Medicine Surgery, a 9-story ambulatory center featuring the latest technology and diagnostic testing, specialized clinical programs, and the only PET/MRI in Westchester County as well as innovative operating suites for same-day procedures. The Physician will: Provide professional services to the Hospitals patient population (including but not limited to assessment, treatment and management of care) and assure continuity of care for those patients assigned to Physician.The professional services provided shall be consistent with the requirements in place at the time for all applicable federal, state and local regulatory entities (including, without limitation, The Joint Commission). As may be reasonably required by the Hospital, work with designated Hospital administrators to provide input into the Practice Locations budgets, capital expenditures, strategic planning and marketing. As may be reasonably required by the Hospital, assist with the selection, supervision and evaluation of the Practice Locations staff. As may be reasonably required by the Hospital, assist the Hospital in recruitment of additional physicians specializing in fetal medicine to the area served by the Hospital. Participate in utilization management, quality improvement, patient satisfaction programs and committees as may be reasonably requested by the Hospital. Participate in such teaching or community benefit programs or other activities as may be reasonably requested by the Hospital from time to time. Participate in after hours and on call coverage as may be indicated for patient care and practice needs. Provide and perform such other services as may reasonably be requested by the Hospital from time to time.
