We are seeking a Pulmonary Function Technologist to:

  • Assess and monitor cardiopulmonary function

  • Perform routine testing, such as spirometry, lung volumes, and diffusion

Education:

Minimum Successful completion of a two-year COARC accredited School for Respiratory Care.

Preferred Bachelor or Master's Degree in Respiratory Therapy

Work Experience:

Minimum Experience performing spirometry

Preferred Experience performing pulmonary function testing beyond spirometry

License and Certifications:

Minimum Wisconsin Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Must obtain NBRC CPFT credential within one year of hire date.

CPR certification

Preferred Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) Credential.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with a variety of professionals.

Physical Requirements:

Light: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.

Work Schedule:
100% FTE, 40 hours per week, Monday

  • Friday, 8:00 am

  • 4:30 pm.

VIEW JOBS 4/7/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-07-06T00:00 The Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Technologist will support the research, translational and patient care services at the Wisconsin Institutes for Medical Research (WIMR). This position will be responsible for conducting daily research and clinical PET/CT, PET/MR and CT procedures while maintaining compliance with radiation safety regulations, research policies and HIPAA guidelines. This position requires detailed attention to procedures and documentation that will be used to assist and support research protocols.
