We are seeking a Pulmonary Function Technologist to:

  • Assess and monitor cardiopulmonary function.

  • Perform routine testing, such as spirometry, lung volumes, and diffusion.

Education:

Minimum

  • Successful completion of a two-year COARC accredited School for Respiratory Care.

Preferred

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Respiratory Therapy.

Work Experience:

Minimum

  • Experience performing spirometry.

Preferred

  • Experience performing pulmonary function testing beyond spirometry.

License and Certifications:

Minimum-

  • Wisconsin Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
  • NBRC RRT and RPFT credential. These must be obtained within one year of hire date.
  • CPR certification

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with a variety of professionals.

Physical Requirements:

Light: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, 40 hours per week. Scheduled shifts are between the hours of 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
