Summary

The City of Northglenn Public Works Director plans, organizes, directs and integrates the City's public works activities and functions, includ-ing the following divisions: Engineering, Water Resources, Utilities (water, wastewater, and sanitation) and general operations.

The Department is considered full-service and the operations division includes street maintenance, sanitation, fleet services, and facilities maintenance. Additionally, this position oversees all activities of the acquisition, development, operations and protection for raw water supplies and compliance with federal and state laws. The Director also provides guidance to project managers in the Department implementing horizontal and vertical construction of public facilities. As an integral member of the City's Leadership Team, the Director will assist the City Manager in providing policy and budget guidance to the City Council and in implementing the annual Work Plan and 5-year Capital Improvement Program (Capital Projects Fund, Water Fund, Wasterwater Fund and Stormwater Fund).

Your day As a Director Patient Care you need to know how to: * Participate in or initiate the design, planning or implementation of many aspects of a project that is designed for Hospice and for Palliative Care and interfaces with various departments as needed to achieve the most inclusive product * Serve and participate on various education-related committees both within Hospice, Palliative Care and in the hospital * Demonstrate conceptual and diagnostic skills to prioritize and manage projects that are appropriate and timely to meet staff needs and changing population of Hospice and Palliative patient care needs * Serve as a consultant for the entire program (Hospice and Palliative Care) staff in areas of program development, clinical practice and professional development * Work in partnership with Administration of Hospice Program and the Palliative Care Program and Hospital, Hospital Clinical Managers, and Clinical Nurse Specialists as well as Physician Providers to assess, deliver, evaluate competency assessments and hold staff accountable for Hospice and Palliative Care/Hospital requirements * Assure that both the Hospice and the Palliative Care programs policies, protocols and practice standards, classes and competencies, and educational offerings maintain a relevant content to the variances that vibrant and developing programs demands * Leads or participates in multidisciplinary teams to develop programs based on patient care issues defined through survey results, observation or community standard of care Your experience We hire people, not resumes.
