Responsibilities
As a Public Safety Office, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment within our facility. Your responsibilities include electronic surveillance, systematic manual rounds, and coordinating responses to potential issues involving patients, employees, and visitors. You'll enforce policies and procedures, ensuring equitable application and contributing to workplace safety. Additionally, your role involves collaborating with the Environment of Care committee to promote a multidisciplinary approach to security and safety.
Perform security services, including electronic surveillance and systematic manual rounds.
Coordinate facility responses to various potential problems, ensuring safety for patients, employees, and visitors.
Enforce policies and procedures, maintaining an equitable approach.
Follow guidelines and employ perpetual monitoring techniques to establish a secure workplace.
Collaborate with the Environment of Care committee to enhance security and safety.
Participate in employee awareness and education.
Drive as needed for company business.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Possess a State Guard Certification Registration Card.
High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
State Driver's License
Current DMV H6 or Driving History Report
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in healthcare security or a related field.
Experience in writing incident reports.
Minimum 2 years of experience in security.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $18.23 to $23.61. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
