This position serves as the program coordinator for the Ross County Safe Communities traffic safety program funded by a grant from Ohio Department of Public Safety. Adena Health System is the fiscal agent of this grant and coordinates the Ross County Safe Communities program with the funding received annually.
This position coordinates the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the Ross County Safe Communities traffic safety program as guided by the Ohio Department of Public Safety's requirements and recommendations. This position facilitates the coordination of the Ross County Safe Communities Coalition and Traffic Fatality Review committees. This position reports directly to the Director of Community Health Advancement for the Adena Health System.
Associate Degree Health Care Administration required.
6 months Project Management, Media Relations, or Communications and program and process implementation/administration and policy development required.
Skills & Abilities:
Familiarity with the Ross County community and local events, ability to effectively engage public at local events, understanding of social media and its use to increase visibility of programs and community health related messages, ability to develop and maintain community/agency partnerships
