Job Description and Duties

Under the supervision of a Public Safety Dispatch Supervisor II, planning, organizing and assigning work to communications center personnel; ability to work a variety of shifts - including holidays and weekends; prepare performance evaluations, quality assurance reviews, custodians of records requests, monthly CHP 100PSD forms, civilians' complaints, injury and illness reports; monitor/manage critical incidents; ability to perform dispatch duties using informCAD; provide direction and assistance to subordinate personnel and other duties as assigned.

The Ventura Communications Center dispatch employees receive an additional $300.00 recruitment and retention monthly pay differential. Part-time and intermittent employees shall receive a pro rata share of the monthly differential based on the total number of hours worked within the monthly pay period.
