Job Summary

With the exciting changes coming from our More Roads announcements, Harley-Davidson's Public Relations team is growing. We are currently looking for an experienced Public Relations professional to step into the team and hit the ground running. This is a non-supervisory position which will provide an opportunity to ultimately develop and implement public relations activities and projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Developing PR strategies to attract new customers and reinforce our position with existing customers to create editorial coverage with influential media outlets and influencers.

  • Executing PR activities, integrating with and overseeing agency support to keep the H-D brand, products, and experiences in the news cycle consistently.

  • Pro-actively cultivating, strengthening and maintaining relationships with relevant enthusiast media and relevant niche and mainstream influencers.

  • Management and fiscal oversight for motorcycle enthusiast PR budgets and other communication initiatives.

  • Setting PR goals, KPIs and metrics, and conducting regular reporting on each.

  • Partnering with other cross-functional stakeholders within a global, matrix organization.

Education Specifications

A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or a related field is preferred.

Experience Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Public Relations or Corporate Communications professional who can step into the role to make an immediate impact on Harley-Davidson's future. To be successful in this role you must be able to lead through ambiguity and deliver with minimal supervision.

Are you qualified?

To be considered for this role, we will look for five (5) years of PR and/or Media Relations experience which includes:

  • Experience developing multi-dimensional long-range PR plans

  • Experience executing media plans with major national media outlets

  • Experience with project planning, which includes budget management

  • Using data to drive decisions, and metrics to measure success

  • Ability to travel as needed (10-25%)

POSITION OVERVIEW: The PR Intern is the first level role in Public Relations at Laughlin Constable. PR Interns provide administrative and customer service support to the public relations team, account executives, and client services managers.
