Track Frye's press coverage by monitoring upcoming earned credits, as well as searching for Frye & other keywords using Google's news search platform on a daily/weekly basis.
Send a weekly press impressions report, ensuring all unique monthly visitor & circulation statistics are accurate.
Work with graphics team to compile a monthly press/celebrity placement deck.
Work with Accounts Payable department to ensure all PR invoices are submitted and paid on time. Track all invoices in the PR department's Invoice Log and send a monthly update of invoices & status updates to Senior Director at the end of each month.
Handle correspondence with external entities for general day-to-day press requests, including editorial requests, VIP requests, and studio services requests.
Track sample send outs and orders from the warehouse for celebrity/VIP, editorial requests and studio services.
Maintain PR contact database & ensure all press, influencer & music industry contacts are up to date.
Field all inquiries sent to Frye's general PR email on a daily basis.
Continuously update the PR department calendar and assist Sr. Director in developing press, gifting and partnership strategies. Research cultural events & potential gifting/ partnership opportunities.
Maintain constant contact with regional and national PR firms - proactively ensuring they have required sample sets & hi-res imagery of product.
Help create fall and spring look books for both Frye's celebrity/VIP firm and national PR firm.
Place seasonal sample orders with merchandising team and track the arrivals of each sample to ensure PR firms receive their sample set in a timely fashion.
Assist in writing/editing press releases and media alerts for store events and brand launches.
Assist in all phases of event production for in-store events, activations and seasonal press previews.
Work with graphics team to develop event invites and event signage.
Communicate with regional PR firms to manage local PR initiatives & event production (RSVPs, etc.).
Create event wrap-up reports to track ROI; file event imagery & gather social impressions from social media manager.
Update event tracker document with store sales data as needed.
Manage artist gifting organization & logistics for Frye's music festival activations (3-4 times per year).
Create gifting form using Google Forms for performing artists, track & order all product, create gifting face sheet, handle shipping of product and display materials to activation.
Skills and Requirements
Experience with sample management & showroom displays (fashion retail experience also applicable).
Experience in PR or general events, including RSVPs, press clippings and wrap reports.
Knowledge of social media outlets, including Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest & Instagram.'
Skillful with Power Point, Excel, Google Docs and Adobe Creative Suite
Looking for someone who has a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Must be extremely organized.
Must be dedicated to working in fashion PR and have industry knowledge, as well as knowledge of pop culture & celebrities.
