We are currently looking for an experienced Account Supervisor to lead strategic development and execution of events and PR campaigns and Consumer Engagement program work for a global QSR leader. You will lead client counsel on tactical matters linked to strategic digital and traditional PR plans designed to drive earned media coverage and conversation. You will collaborate closely (leading integrated efforts) with third party agency partners in the areas of event operations, paid media (across digital, OOH, TV), sponsorship activations and in-restaurant marketing. With a can-do attitude you will develop and drive strategic and creative initiatives, serve as the daily client go-to and manage multiple members of a top-notch team on a variety of projects.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as client daily lead

  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategic integrated communication plans

  • Counsel clients on strategic and tactical matters linked to third party partners in the area of event operations, paid media (across digital, OOH and TV) and in-restaurant marketing

  • Proactively generate new ideas and opportunities for the development of strategic client plans and assist with the creation of related budgets

  • Partner with key team members in the other g4 communities to develop, sell-in and execute traditional media and social media plans

  • Develop an intimate knowledge of your clients' brands

  • Design and execute mid to large scale client events and PR programs and activations

  • Provide leadership and executional excellence during program implementation

  • Develop deep knowledge of relevant industry events

  • Manage external vendors

  • Assist with supervision and development of junior team members

  • Gain an understanding of key social media platforms and how to create consumer engagement

  • Work well with a variety of key internal and external stakeholders

  • Excel at verbal and written client, interpersonal and intra-team communications

What You Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline

  • 6-8 years of PR agency or related professional communications experience at a mid to large sized agency

  • Background in event planning and execution with experience overseeing both traditional media relations and social media execution

  • Experience leading coordination with venues and event operations agencies

  • Strong program management experience (planning, execution, budget management)

  • Proven ability to execute programs with small budgets and keep clients and leadership updated on budget trends

  • Experience working on large consumer brands

  • Experience managing and mentoring junior level team members is mandatory

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrable experience leading large client projects

  • Excellent writing, copy-editing, and proof-reading skills

  • The ability to flawlessly execute

This person provides support across all aspects of the plan execution process which may include press material development and deployment, spokesperson preparation, social media content creation and execution, event logistic management and performance reporting on all tactics. The ideal candidate has a keen understanding of how media works and can craft, pitch, and sell stories to traditional print, online and broadcast media, as well as bloggers and social influencers. This position must be comfortable interacting with senior and C-level executives, possess a strong "teamwork" orientation, and collaborate across many diverse groups and internal departments. Essential Functions * Promote company culture, vision, mission, and core values. * Interact professionally and maintain positive working partnerships with all levels of the organization, residents, family members, and vendors. * Conceive and implement public relations strategies to enhance the company's public image. * Develop and execute various PR campaigns for Corporate Brand, Development, and Focus Communities. * Pitch media outlets via email, phone and networking events. * Assist in the creation of and approve press releases, media statements, talking points, speeches, presentations, and other materials. * Work with SVP of Communications and the Marketing Team to create and execute on an editorial calendar. * Work closely with marketing team to make sure marketing campaigns align with public relations efforts. * Develop media relationships, monitor media activity and respond to media requests. * Report on and communicate current state of company reputation and PR utilizing online review, survey, and PR software metrics. * Monitor, drive and write responses to online reviews. * Identify and coordinate best executive thought leadership opportunities including, speaking opportunities, panel discussions, interviews, podcast, and guest writing opportunities. * Help executives effectively communicate through press interview prep, talking points, etc. * Ingrained in senior housing news and trends and pitch story ideas internally to the corporate team. * Assist with crisis communication, systems, and strategy at both community and corporate levels. * Coordinate company awards submission. * Assist with customer satisfaction surveys and programs. * Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Level of Formal Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. Area of Study: Communications, English, Journalism, Public Relations or related field. Years of Experience: 3-5 years' experience in public relations/external communications and proven experience in creating compelling story lines and content around current trends and the news cycle of PR/media relations experience. Type of Experience: Professional writing experience, media relations, issues/crisis management, and corporate communications experience. Senior Housing, Hospitality or Health Care experience is preferred. Special Certifications: Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
