Summary

You will serve as a PUBLIC PRIVATE VENTURE PROJECT MANAGER in the in the Asset Management Business Line, Public Private Venture (PPV) Division of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST.

Responsibilities

  • You will oversee Public Private Venture (PPV) Partner business agreement or management plan maintenance compliance.

  • You will coordinate with Public Private Venture (PPV) Management Personnel to maintain referrals, assignments, and financial electronic funds transactions for service members in privatized housing.

  • You will conduct on-site discussions with operating officials to gather information for analysis.

  • You will facilitate acquisition strategies for housing and lodging business lines to represent installation interests.

  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.

  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). You must be certified as a Facilities Engineering Career Field Level 3. Certification is required within 24 months of appointment.

  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  1. Applying a range of federal, state, and regional policies, codes, regulations, and requirements pertaining to the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of Public Private Venture projects;

  2. Using administrative and project management processes necessary to successfully execute and manage the PPV projects as assigned within the PPV program;

  3. Providing direction and advice to team personnel and others on the resolution of PPV actions; and

  4. Assisting in developing and executing the PPV annual budget, and identifying the appropriate funding sources for PPV project actions.
