Description

Under the supervision of the Assessors Information Supervisor, provides information to the public on properties within Oklahoma County by telephone and in person. This position requires the expertise and ingenuity necessary in problem solving and be knowledgeable of all basic departmental functions in the Oklahoma County Assessors office.

KEY DUTIES:1. Assists the public in matters pertaining to ownership, parcel number, location and other inquiries on properties within Oklahoma County. 2. Assists the public on how to use networked PCs and maps in the public information area.3.

Updates changes of physical property address locations.4. Provide real property display printouts of assessment data to the public and certified copies of real property displays available upon request. Send and receive all mail correspondence and FAX inquires of the Public Information Department.5.

Takes homestead applications when necessary and assists in verifying homestead application address changes.6. Makes address changes on all properties.7. Give receipts for money received for copies and maps and turn proceeds into Administrative Secretary for deposit, on a daily basis. 8. All duties assigned by your supervisor and/or the administrative office.
