Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00, 40 hours per week

Starting Salary Range: $36.75-$44.00/hour
This is an exciting new position, involving the creation and direction of Adult Primary Care services at CHA. This position will shape and lead adult primary care efforts, while working in partnership with clinical provider(s) and other members of the healthcare team including Behavioral Health and Dental. This position will provide direct patient care that focuses on improving health outcomes.
Illustrative Duties:
Education and Experience: Requires graduation from a baccalaureate program in nursing and 3 years' experience in a public health or primary care setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
License: Must have a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina. Must also have a current, valid North Carolina driver's license.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Thorough knowledge of and skill in the application of nursing theory, practices, principles, and techniques employed in the field of public health and related programs; considerable knowledge of and skill in obtaining a health history and performing physical examinations sufficient enough to determine if there is any deviation from normal, bases on training and where applicable; considerable knowledge of current social and economic problems relating to healthcare; considerable knowledge of available resources and organizations.
Ability to plan, coordinate, and supervise the work of others; ability to deal tactfully with others and to exercise good judgment in appraising situations and making decisions; ability to secure the cooperation of clients, to elicit needed information and to maintain effective working relationships; ability to record accurately services rendered and to interpret and explain records, reports and medical instructions. Needs to be extremely flexible. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Requires good decision-making skills.
