As a Public Health Analyst, you will provide technical consultation, plan, manage and evaluate vaccine safety program activities, conducted through Federal contracts, grants or cooperative agreements.

Serve as expert analyst in developing, monitoring, implementing, and evaluating current or projected complex, interrelated public health programs involving governmental and non-governmental organizations from multiple sectors
Analyze existing or proposed systems, strategies, services, or other health-related matters for long range implementation and administration of the public health program.
Exercise responsibilitiy related to the initiation, administration, and/or close out of grants and cooperative agreements
Prepare the annual budget and/or requests for funding based on information received from subordinate activities.
Research and prepare response to inquiries received in writing or telephonically.
Coordinate , collaborative projects with other internal and/or external organizations to meet broad agency goals.
Interpret administrative policy, develop local administrative policies and guidelines for subordinate program activities, defines administrative requirements, and provides advice to management on related matters.

Applicants must have one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level of in the Federal service as defined in the next paragraph.
Specialized experience is experience which is directly related to the position which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the position to include experience providing technical consultation, plan, manage and evaluate public health program activities, conducted through Federal contracts, grants or cooperative agreements
Documenting experience: In accordance with Office of Personnel Management policy, federal employees are assumed to have gained experience by performing duties and responsibilities appropriate for their official series and grade level as described in their position description.
