  • Provide administrative support to public finance bankers

  • Interacting with clients/client representatives

  • Preparing general correspondence, including responding to proposals

  • Composing complex and/or confidential correspondence

  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations

  • Answering telephones

  • Preparing expense reports

  • Act as an information source on department / business unit policies and procedures

  • Coordinate special events and / or office functions

  • Work as part of a team of administrative assistants providing support to the public finance team.

  • Serve as back-up administrative support to Head of Public Finance

  • Produce industry reports from SDC and Bloomberg as requested

  • Pull team revenue reports as requested from internal TRIP system

  • Perform various ad hoc tasks and work on other ad hoc projects as assigned

  • Act as administrator for other departmental teams and committees, i.e. Fee Review teams

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following, and adhering to and if applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of administrative support experience

  • Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills

  • Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs

  • Experience supporting multiple managers with calendar management, travel arrangements, scheduling of meetings and events

Other Desired Qualifications

  • 5+ years of administrative support experience

  • Public Finance Investment banking experience

  • Previous experience as an administrative assistant or comparable position within a fast-paced, client-oriented professional services environment

  • Ability to hold information in strict confidence and work in a professional and discreet manner

  • Solid oral and written communication with the ability to communicate effectively

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact and communicate with external clients, senior leadership and other team members

Specifically, in this role, the analyst will: * Review financial and operating statements, economic data, and strategic plans for cities, counties, tax assessment and other local government credits * The individual will be involved in reviewing the structure and legal documents to determine the security of the transactions being rated in accordance with the Standard & Poor's ratings criteria * Prepare presentations on these credits to a rating committee and communicating the results of these deliberations to clients, their representatives, financial intermediaries, investors, and the media including preparing details ratings analysis for publication. * The individual will be expected to handle new issue transactions as well as maintain timely surveillance of local government ratings consistent with existing S&P Global Ratings criteria.
