This position will assume responsibility for content management of the Institute web site and social media channels. Content management duties include:

Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content Maintain, update, and proof all content including profiles, projects, and resources Identify and improve organizational development aspects that would improve content Create a regular publishing schedule Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns Integrate all channels of marketing (social media, SEO, content marketing, email, print, and digital marketing) Manage or oversee all social advertising campaigns Analyze key metrics and provide recommendations for improved strategy Enhance the visual brand of the Institute Consult with and guide project staff regarding project web sites and social media channels This position also will maintain the Institutes photo and video asset collection and support Frank Porter Graham (FPG) eNews list segmentation and maintenance.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Preferred: 2-4 years communications, marketing, or social media experience; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; exceptional written and oral communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment; ability to interact effectively in a comprehensive university setting; high energy level and a strong desire to be successful. Proficiency with web platforms such as Drupal and WordPress.

Proficiency with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Creative suite.
