Your impact as a Public Affairs Manager- Public Sector Partnerships

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drives initial researching, prospecting, and stakeholder mapping / management to understand the federal government's appetite and ability to purchase new risk solutions

  • Develops, maintains, and broadens relationships with federal stakeholders through product development, education, deal closure, and after-deal relationship management

  • Achieves a high level of business acumen and expertise related to risk solutions and federal needs. Uses this experience to federal stakeholders and prospective clients in order to position Aon's products and services effectively

  • Engages and manages local lobbyists to further develop relationships and product education

  • Works collaboratively with internal business partners across Aon to enable the success of new risk solutions

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

Required Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience required

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience working in public affairs at a large, multi-national corporation

  • Must have experience managing lobbyists; insurance experience preferred

  • Strong business acumen and executive sales presence, including the ability to influence decision-makes at all levels

  • Willingness to travel 30-50%

The Public Sector and Utility Consulting group has provided clients operational, financial, compliance, risk advisory, and process improvement services.
