PT Trio Upward Bound/Trio Student Support Services

TRIO Upward Bound/TRIO Student Support Services includes: Coordinator/ Tutor/Mentor/ Summer Recreational/ Summer Resident Hall/ Summer Teacher/ Summer Assistant

•    Serve as a role model for students

•    Provide assistance to students

 •    Provide one-on-one or group services as required

•    Keep regular and accurate records of student activities

•    Maintain confidentiality of office/student information

 •    Offer a supportive ear and feedback for students' questions and concerns

 •    Assist with planning and execution of student events, workshops and activities as needed

•    Report to work on time

 •    Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Director

 •    Foster a customer service environment for fellow employees, students, and visitors. Be an Ambassador for the College. Support the college's initiative to maximize retention of current students and enable students to finish their collegiate goals.

•    Comply with all policies of the Alabama Community College System Board of Trustees, the ACCS Chancellor's Office, and the College.

•    Participate in College functions (Award and Honor events, Alumni Homecoming, Commencement, Parson Days, etc.) 

•    Assume other work related responsibilities as assigned by the appropriately assigned College administrator.

•    An Associate's Degree is preferred. Experience working with low income, first generation, or students with disabilities.  Demonstrate qualities of teamwork, leadership, professional conduct and regard for others. Must be highly energetic.

TRIO Coordinator/ Tutor/Mentor

•    Students                   $10.00/hr.

•    Associates degree     $11.50/hr

•    Master's degree    $21.00/hr

•    Doctorate                $23.00/hr.

TRIO Summer Academy (last 4 weeks in summer, please email Marie.Smith@snead.edu for dates and any questions)

Summer Recreational/ Summer Teacher/ Summer Assistant

•    Non-degree                   $12.00/hr.

•    Associates degree     $15.00/hr.

•    Bachelor's degree       $19.00/hr.

•    Master's degree    $21.00/hr.

•    Doctorate                $23.00/hr.

Summer Head Resident Hall Advisor $3,500

Summer Resident Hall Advisor $3,000
