Annual Security Report Notice

The part-time Precollege Immersion Program Coordinator (current Graduate student or recently graduated Precollege student) oversees the operation of day-to-day activities during Pace's 2-week high school summer program. The part-time Coordinator will oversee a group of Track Leaders and their cohort of high school students. The part-time Coordinator also helps plan on and off-site activities and provide support and supervision for student track-staff and program-participant wellness. The part-time Coordinator will assist with training and preparation of the program 1 month before the start of the program. This position reports to the Director Summer Sessions.

Staff move-in is July 8th. Training will run from July 9 - 12. The Precollege Program runs from July 14 - July 27. All staff are required to live on -campus from July 8 - 27. Review information on the Precollege Program at www.pace.edu/precollegeprogram.

Position Duties

  • Live on-campus for 2 weeks of the Precollege Summer Program.

  • Leads and supports day-to-day operations during the program's two weeks, including check-in and orientation, meals, evening and weekend activities, and check-out.

  • Oversee a group of Track Leaders (Pace students) who will be chaperones for high school junior and senior students who participate in Pace University's Precollege program.

  • Lead all afternoon, evening, and weekend activities offered both on and off campus.

  • Assist the Director with the planning of the Precollege Program including events, activities, and development of program materials.

  • Identify and address problems or concerns for staff or students.

  • On-call for track leaders in all emergencies.

  • Relieve track leaders as necessary.

  • Accessible for any student of a track leader during the course of the program.

  • Ability to handle conflict, conflict, or emergency issues.

  • Performs other such duties as may be assigned from time to time.
