Open Until Filled Location: Chabot College, 25555 Hesperian Blvd., Hayward, CA 94545 Job SummaryThe Chabot-Las Positas Community College District is seeking a Part-Time Instructor, Graphic Arts for Chabot College in Hayward for our adjunct pool. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background in Digital Media Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design.

Duties and Responsibilities1. Teach day and evening courses offered in Graphic Design, Typography, Vector Graphics, Digital Imaging, Design & Layout, Web Design and Interactive Media. 2. Create a syllabus, teach the course and evaluate students. 3.

Participate in the development and furthering of departmental and college goals through course development and student engagement. Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher and two years of professional experience, or any associate degree and six years of professional experience. Evidence of understanding of and responsiveness to the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, racial and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, as these factors relate to the need for equity-minded practices within the classroom.
