We're looking for:
Equipment Room is looking for a Part-Time Host / Server who will exceed guest expectations in a multitude of tasks, including: welcome patrons, seat them at tables or in the lounge, taking orders and serving food and beverages to patrons, and help to ensure the quality of the facility and service while creating a warm, engaging, and exciting social scene.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
1 year related experience in hospitality or service industry
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace
Experience in similar music concept venue preferred
Previous experience as DJ, music stylist, playlist curation preferred
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of co-workers and sister property staff
Ability to understand other computer programs (i.e. Property Management System and Point of Sale)
Ability to apply concepts of math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Job Requirements:
Ensure immediate response is given to any and all guest comments and concerns, inform immediate supervisor of concerns and assist implementing corrective measure when necessary
Provide guests with menus
Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas
Assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs
Inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup
Speak with patrons to ensure satisfaction with food and service, and to respond to complaints
Receive and record patrons' dining reservations
Maintain contact with Kitchen staff, management, Serving staff, and customers to ensure that dining details are handled properly and customers' concerns are addressed
Inform patrons of establishment specialties and features
Direct patrons to waiting areas such as lounges
Operate cash registers to accept payments for food and beverages (if applicable)
Prepare cash receipts after establishments close
Supervise and coordinate activities of dining room staff to ensure that patrons receive prompt and courteous service
Check patrons' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
Take orders from patrons for food or beverage
Manage order times and informs guests of any delays in service and informs management
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety in the work area
Ensure that all equipment is maintained in good, safe working condition
Maintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the property
Keep abreast of safety and emergency procedures and OSHA requirements
Attend relevant meetings
Based upon fluctuating demands of the operation and to exceed customer expectations, it may be necessary to perform a multitude of different functions not specifically related to this position. This person may be expected to perform other tasks and duties as needed or as directed. Furthermore, employee responsibilities and job descriptions are subject to review and revision.
Working Conditions/Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, typical of a hotel/restaurant/office setting
The person in this position may have to lift/carry up to fifty (50) pounds on a daily basis; anything over fifty (50) pounds is considered a minimum two (2) person lift
The person having this position may have to remain stationary for one (1) hour, move about/traverse property spaces, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and stretch for up to eight (8) hours per day
