Catapult Learning, LLC is looking for qualified and experienced teachers in Tennessee! Catapult Learning is a provider of K12 contracted instructional services to public and private schools throughout the US, specializing in at-risk youth and students who are struggling; we are a company with over 40 years of excellence in education.
We have a private high schools in Cordova in need of a part-time (up to 29 hours per week) High School Reading Teacher for our intervention programs. This position is in a face-to-face environment, and the program focuses on small group instruction in Reading/ELA for grades 9-12.
A Teaching Certificate is preferred for this position, but we will also accept those who are in process of obtaining one. Local candidates preferred. To expedite processing of your application, please include your certificate information and location on your resume.

Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies.
Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.
Teaching Certificate preferred but not required (we CAN also accept an expired or out of state certificate)
Associate's Degree or higher in subject of Reading/English
A minimum of 1 year of experience with instructing high school students in Reading/English
Experience with and ability to perform both classroom and virtual teaching/instructing
Working knowledge of MS Office and virtual meeting programs (Zoom, etc.) preferred
Internet connectivity required (virtual learning materials will be provided, if needed)
A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards students, administration, parents, and other internal and external customers
