Job Description

Responsible for the upkeep, appearance and safe use of the Bartlett Station Municipal Center and the Bartlett Library. Set up and take down of tables and chairs for both community and rental events.

Cleaning and sanitizing of offices, restrooms, halls and equipment. Responsible for inventory of cleaning supplies needed for both BSMC and Bartlett Library. Preventative maintenance on floors, ceilings, and restrooms in regard to appearance and public safety.

Will keep outside grounds and parking lots free of litter. Must be able to work independently with minimal instruction. Must be able to perform building custodial work and use small hand tools to perform minor repairs in the building.

Must have the ability to read and understand operation manuals and chemical application instructions. Must be able to perform physical labor inside or outside in various conditions. Must have the ability to work flexible hours.

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; minimum age of 18 with valid driver's license.

Applicant must pass a background and driver's license check and a physical exam, including a drug test. Bartlett resident preferred, but not required. Will work in a non-smoking work environment.
