Business Unit/Department Mission: Keeps records of financial transactions for a store and ensures that office/store funds balance by performing the following duties. Responsible for the accurate and efficient operation of the store's Business Center and cash control office. Prepares, verifies, checks, and maintains all store accounting functions.
Essential Functions / Process responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned)
Prepares cash control & Business Center schedule
Researches and resolves any store accounting variances
Ensures that all partners are in compliance with shrink audit
Works to achieve department budget (monitoring over/shorts, payroll, Business Center income)
Prepares and reconciles tills
Orders and maintains bookkeeping supplies and forms
Calculates and tracks checkers cash over and short performance
Performs all duties of Checker & Customer Service Assistant when needed
Prepares and issues performance reviews for cash control and Business Center partners
Education and Experience preferred:
Typically requires 5-8 years of related experience. Supervisory experience preferred.
