Annual Security Report Notice

Pace is committed to ensuring the safety and security of the students, faculty, staff and visitors to the University. The report contains information on security policies as well as crime and fire statistics for the University.

This part-time summer staff position will be based on the Pace Pleasantville campus which will extend from June 10th - August 16th. The part time Data and Policy Analyst is responsible for but not limited to researching the methods for the collection and distribution of drinking water quality data along with serving as the project expert. The part time Data and Policy Analyst reports to the executive director of the Center for Technology, Policy and the Environment.

Position Duties

  • Research the methods for the collection and distribution of drinking water quality data by regulatory agencies.

  • Serve as the project expert on federal and state reporting along with notification requirements regarding drinking water.

  • Develop criteria for information systems at Pace to provide prompt notification of water quality data.

  • Performs other such duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Work Hours

Exact hours to be determined with supervisor; generally up to 20 hours per week.

  • Master's degree in computer sciences required.

  • Available to work on the Pace Pleasantville campus on a regular basis.

  • Understand water quality data collection and management.

  • Understand federal and state regulatory requirements regarding the collection and public dissemination of water quality data.

  • Familiar with Pace Pleasantville water supply, its sources, and data collection.

  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Thrive in a team-based work environment.
