Job Description Job Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity in the banking industry for a PT Bank Teller at our Framingham, Massachusetts location. In this role, you will manage and process various banking transactions, maintain accurate customer records, and deliver high-quality customer service. Responsibilities: • Handle cash transactions, including deposits and cashing checks for both customers and non-customers. • Accurately process and record sales of monetary instruments such as official bank checks. • Manage the purchase and sale of foreign currency. • Comply with government regulations by accurately filing all mandated reports related to large cash transactions and sales of monetary instruments. • Process payments for various types of loans and credit card cash advances. • Provide customers with access to safe deposit area as per the branch configuration. • Engage actively in the sales process by identifying potential financial needs of customers and non-customers and making appropriate referrals to the platform staff.• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in the banking industry or similar financial institutions • Proven experience in handling cash activities and maintaining bank balances • Proficiency in executing bank transactions and processing bank deposits • Skilled at answering inbound calls promptly and professionally • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently • Familiarity with retail banking operations and procedures • Excellent cash handling skills with attention to accuracy and detail • Ability to comply with all banking policies and regulations.
