Hiring Salary/Salary Range: $15.39/hour, ~20 hours per week, Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters
Nature of Work:
The Academic Program Support Specialist, part-time, will perform a wide variety of instructional, programmatic, and administrative work supporting the Master's in Medical Sciences Pre-Professional Program (MSP3) during the fall 2023 and spring 2024 semesters.
DUTIES:
Provides support for instruction through administration of course syllabi, class materials, exams, course evaluations, processing course schedules, maintaining course inventory, etc.
Upholds and maintains regularly scheduled availability to program students through review sessions, office hours, and Canvas communication.
Supports and coordinates orientation and student success workshops for new students.
Proctors program examinations.
Performs other administrative duties as assigned in support of the academic mission of the program and department.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience):
Minimum Qualifications:
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with four years of experience in office or administrative positions.
Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Successful completion of the MSP3 program with top academic standing.
