VIEW JOBS 10/9/2020 12:00:00 AM 2021-01-07T00:00 The Enterprise Risk Program Manager reports to the Director of Enterprise Risk, and is responsible for providing key support to the Bank's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program. The Deputy works closely with business lines and support functions to assist them in managing their risk and control environment. The Deputy is responsible for understanding and communicating the Bank's risk profile to promote risk-aware decision-making and foster risk mitigation. In addition, the Deputy supports the execution of the Bank's risk transfer strategy (i.e., via corporate insurance) and may assist with other risk management activities as needed, including model risk, third-party risk, new product/service risk, and bank acquisitions. Seacoast's Risk function promotes risk awareness and mitigation, not necessarily risk avoidance. We believe some risk is worth taking, most risk can be managed, and all risk must be understood. In this way, Seacoast's Risk function seeks to optimize risk-return or cost-benefit tradeoffs across the Bank, rather than maintain a sole emphasis on the identification and minimization of risk. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Support the Director of Enterprise Risk in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Bank's ERM program. * Assist business lines and support functions in identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring their risk in a rapidly evolving regulatory and business operating environment. * Enhance and maintain Risk program activities, including: * Respond to internal loss events to promote accountability, perform root cause analysis, and drive risk mitigation enhancements to prevent recurrence. * Facilitate risk and control self-assessments for business lines and support functions as appropriate. * Facilitate scenario analysis to assist the Bank in understanding and proactively mitigating risk. * Enhance and manage the collection of KRIs, KPIs, and KCIs, including risk tolerances, through the Bank's GRC platform (LogicManager); metrics exceeding tolerance trigger root cause analysis and additional risk mitigation measures if warranted. * Perform or facilitate risk assessments of new or modified products, services, third-party vendors, models, and strategic initiatives as appropriate. * Serve as a subject matter expert in the development and review of new and modified Bank policies and procedures. * Execute the day-to-day functions of the Bank's risk transfer strategy, including insurance renewals, notifications to insurers, and claims management. * Represent Risk in key management committees and working groups as needed. Required Skills: * Proven ability to identify and assess risk and make cost-effective recommendations for risk mitigation across a broad range of risk types, business functions, products and services, third-parties, and strategic initiatives. * Solid grasp of risk management frameworks, g., COSO, COBIT, Basel, ISO, NIST, etc. * Demonstrated critical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques and decision-making abilities, to include demonstrated ability to effectively make data-driven decisions. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively manage correspondence with all levels of bank staff, senior and executive management, and representatives of outside organizations. * Ability to communicate complex subjects in a concise and comprehensive manner to multiple stakeholders across the organization. * Expertise in Microsoft Excel * Ability to leverage others' expertise and experience in identifying, evaluating and mitigating risk. * Ability to engage in constructive debate and provide effective challenge at all levels of management to influence business outcomes. * Well-organized, detail-oriented, and committed to persistent follow-up and follow-through. * Self-driven with the ability to meet deadlines and expectations with little supervision. Required Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. * Master's degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, or another discipline relevant to risk management preferred. * Minimum of seven (7) years' experience in operational risk or enterprise risk function at a bank or other financial services company. * Related industry certification, such as FRM, CERP, CRISC, CRMP, etc. is advantageous * Change management, project management, or Six Sigma expertise is advantageous Seacoast National Bank Port Saint Lucie FL
