The Department of Psychology has need for adjunct faculty to teach courses in Developmental Psychology We invite applications to be submitted for potential openings. The successful applicant must have a Masters degree in psychology with a doctorate in psychology preferred.

UNC Pembroke, part of the University of North Carolina system, is among the most diverse universities in the South and has a student population of 6200 in various graduate, undergraduate, and professional programs. Originally founded in 1887 to educate Native-Americans, UNC Pembroke has grown rapidly in recent years. Southeastern North Carolina offers close proximity to major cities and nearby beaches, and an affordable cost of living.

The successful applicant must have a Master's degree in Psychology with a doctorate in Psychology preferred. All degrees must come from accredited institutions. Strong consideration will be afforded to candidates who exhibit a demonstrated record of professional experience and documented excellence in undergraduate teaching, specifically Introduction to Psychology. Candidates must be able to teach face to face classes held on site at UNCP.

We invite applications to be submitted for potential openings. These positions are especially suited for potential faculty who possess terminal degrees in Music or have a minimum of 18 hours of approved graduate course work in relevant fields of Music. The Music Department has a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and part-time faculty are expected to maintain department and university standards. Applicants must have a Master's Degree in Music or a related field that includes a minimum of 18 hours of graduate work in Music -- DMA/PhD in Music is preferred. Strong consideration will be afforded to candidates who exhibit a demonstrated record of professional experience and success in undergraduate teaching. For positions that may include online teaching, candidates are expected to demonstrate an ability to successfully structure an online course in Canvas.
