Psychologist - Per Diem Or Contract

Responsibilities

• Provide the following psychology services at the request from a qualified member of the medical staff:

• Diagnostic testing

• Individual, group and family therapies

• Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment conferences

• Participate in program development and evaluation

• Provide such services within the timeframes established by hospital policy and medical staff rules and regulations

• Provide accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions and evaluations as established by hospital policy and medical staff rules and regulations

• Assist the hospital CEO in the review of policies and procedures related to psychological services on an as needed basis

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Doctoral degree in counseling psychology.

• Licensed by the state of Pennsylvania as a Pharmacologist.

• Written and oral communication skills.

• Skills in case management, time management, and crisis intervention.

• Skills in administering psychological tests.

• Knowledge of adult and adolescent psychological disorders.

• Advanced principals of abnormal psychology.

• Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical records documentation

• Ability in maintaining information as highly confidential.
