Long-Term Substitute for SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST
The Putnam Public School District is seeking a compassionate and dedicated long-term substitute school psychologist to support our students in grades 3-6. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff to continue developing and implementing student-centered programs that address the diverse psychological and emotional needs of our students.
This role involves conducting assessments, providing counseling, and collaborating on intervention strategies to promote student well-being and academic success. The substitute school psychologist will also play a vital role in fostering a positive school environment and enhancing students' social-emotional skills. The Putnam Public School District offers a strong, collaborative culture of caring educators who leverage resources to nurture and challenge our students. Putnam facilitates strong district-wide alignment and support across all three schools in the district to ensure the student's educational experience prepares them for the real world.
EXPERIENCE WITH: A substitute school psychologist should have experience in conducting psychological evaluations, providing counseling, collaborating with educators and families, developing and implementing IEPs, and supporting crisis interventions and behavioral management.
QUALIFICATIONS: CT Certification 070 - School Psychologist or eligibility for certification required.
