Job Summary Provides outpatient and inpatient psychological services to children, adolescents, and their families. If applicable provides supervision, training, and teaching within Children#s Behavioral Health (CBH), Children#s Hospital (CH) and the Children#s Health System (CHS). Education Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from American Psychological Association-accredited program in psychology. Experience Completed internship from American Psychological Association-accredited program. Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries Current license or license eligible#to practice Psychology issued by the Board of Examiners in Psychology of the State of Alabama. Specialty area, registered with the Board of Examiners in Psychology of the State of Alabama as part of licensing process must include psychological services to children and adolescents.

VIEW JOBS 11/16/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-02-14T00:00 Job Summary Responsible for performing multiple customer-focused Children#s Behavioral Health tasks (pre-registration verification, pre-admission, limited financial counseling, scheduling and follow up appointments, co-pay collection, order entry, account verification and updates, urgent registrations). Responsible for the maintenance of CBH patient records including filing, scanning, and coordinating records release with COA HIM department. Responsible for working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical setting. Must be flexible and willing to work in different physical locations and roles as needed to meet customer needs. Expected to report as needed during periods of inclement weather, disasters, and states of emergency. Education High School Diploma or equivalent required. Prefer some college coursework in Office and/or Business Administration; Allied Health or related area. Experience One or more years of healthcare/office experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills are a must. Experience/knowledge of pre-registration, registration, insurance verification, medical terminology, and ICD 10 coding terminology a plus.
