Psychological Health Subject Matter Expert

Key Role:

Serve as a subject matter expert in behavioral health, including consulting on the translation and implementation of evidence-based behavioral health programs and approaches in the DoD. Clarify and translate principles of implementation science as they apply to military behavioral health. Analyze and advise on Military Health System (MHS) policies and procedures to assess readiness for program translation. Lead the development of products to support implementation efforts in the MHS. Serve as the technical and programmatic lead in implementation and knowledge translation with key stakeholders. Maintain clear communication with other Booz Allen team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks and projects.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in public or private sector health

  • 2+ years of experience in a task lead role in a public health, health, or military health environment

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • PhD or PsyD degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with implementation of behavioral health programs or policies
